Look! Mama the snow is melting!

After some long snowy days, finally we have some sun! Snow is melting on the streets, still a little slippery here and there.

Sara has learnt a lot this winter about snow, ice, water. Being the curious little girl that she is, she asks questions like: "Why is there ice on the ground?" "Why is snow not slippery like ice?" "Why is the snow melting" "What is it on the mirror?" after she takes a shower - water vapour.
So this winter sara has learnt that water freezes to ice when its cold then melts again when it's sunny. And that a snow man cannot go inside the house because it will melt --> Thank you Olaf and Aisha for the lesson :)
That she can walk on the snow because it's squishy but not on the ice because it's slippery. That hot water makes water vapour on the mirror and that when its very cold she can do like a dragon and blow smoke (vapour) from her nose and mouth :)

So the sun is out and we can go for walks, so here's what we've been doing the last 3 days.

Snow snow !

Today Sara made an attempt at sledging in the garden, but wasn't very convinced it was fun and kept saying "Stoppp Stopp" :)  At least she is o.k with walking in the snow and holding it in her hand..

Princess fun before bedtime ..

And Goodnight princess Sara and Mankooshy :)
